Velscope

Dr. Frank has seen the devastation cancer causes and is passionate about it’s cure.   He will always do a complete Oral Cancer and TMJ exam on your recall visits with the hygienist.  And for his cancer survivors, he also uses Velscope technology, a filtered light,  that lets us see what the naked eye can not. It is just like the lights you see on CSI Las Vegas and helps us see potential cancerous changes early.

Healing and therapeutic Lasers

Lasers have become a widely used tool in dental offices due to their precision and effectiveness. Healing and therapeutic lasers stimulate tissue repair and regeneration by stimulating biological processes in the body, making them ideal for procedures like gum disease treatment, root canal therapy, soft tissue biopsy, and teeth whitening. Non-invasive and painless, healing with lasers requires no anesthesia compared to traditional methods while providing faster healing times with reduced discomfort for the patient. Many dental offices opt for healing and therapeutic lasers over other methods due to their precision and efficiency while increasing patient comfort and safety at the same time.

Digital X-rays digital scanners

Digital X-rays offer a sharp, detailed image of a patient's teeth and surrounding tissues that allows for a comprehensive diagnosis. Digital scanners, on the other hand, produce 3D images of a patient's teeth and gums that can be used to generate digital models for dental restorations. This eliminates the need for messy impressions or temporary restorations. Dentists utilize digital technologies to accurately diagnose dental problems and plan treatments. Digital X-rays and scanners also reduce patient exposure to radiation, making them very safe.

Same-day crowns

Same-day crowns have become an increasingly popular and convenient solution in dentistry. Getting a dental crown can require multiple visits to the dentist with patients waiting days or even weeks for their final restoration to be completed. With same-day crowns, patients no longer need to compromise on convenience when visiting their dentist. Same-day crowns offer patients the convenience of having a custom-fitted and fabricated crown placed within just one visit. This is made possible thanks to 3D scanning and milling technology that enables dentists to craft an aesthetically pleasing crown within hours. Same-day crowns offer a timesaving and convenient solution for busy patients with hectic schedules, as the restoration can be completed quickly without messy impressions or temporary crowns. Dental offices that offer same-day crowns give their patients an expeditious dental experience that minimizes discomfort, saves effort, and provides high-quality dental care - all in one convenient place!

Next Day Night Guards

A next-day night guard is a type of dental appliance used to protect the teeth from the effects of bruxism, which is the grinding or clenching of teeth during sleep. This type of night guard is custom-fitted to the patient's teeth and is made from a durable, high-quality material. Unlike traditional night guards, which may take weeks to be created by a lab, a next-day night guard can be created in the dental office in just one visit. This is made possible by using advanced CAD/CAM technology, which enables the creation of a precise and high-quality night guard on the same day or the next. Dental offices that offer next-day night guards provide a convenient and efficient solution for patients who suffer from bruxism, allowing them to protect their teeth from further damage while also promoting a more restful sleep each night.

CariVu Non-Xray Cavity Detection

CariVu is a diagnostic tool that allows dentists to detect and diagnose cavities without the use of traditional X-rays. This technology uses transillumination, which shines a special light through the tooth to detect any cavities or cracks. The CariVu system produces highly detailed and accurate images of the teeth that can be analyzed on a computer screen, allowing the dentist to diagnose any cavities or other dental problems. CariVu is a non-invasive and painless method of cavity detection that produces minimal radiation exposure, making it safe. Dental offices that use CariVu provide their patients with a fast, accurate, and comfortable dental experience, allowing for earlier detection and treatment of tooth decay while reducing the need for more invasive procedures.

Refer out CBCT's

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced 3D imaging technology used in dentistry to produce accurate, high-resolution scans of the patient's teeth and jaw. CBCT scans provide a more detailed and comprehensive view of the teeth, roots, nerves, bones, and other important structures in the oral cavity. At our office, we take our commitment to providing the highest standard of care to our patients seriously. That is why we prioritize ensuring any diagnostic imaging we perform is done accurately and appropriately. When CBCT scans are necessary for accurate diagnosis, we won't hesitate to refer out for this type of imaging. By taking this approach we can give our patients the comprehensive support they deserve.

In Office Dentures and Implant Retained Dentures

Patients have several options when it comes to dentures, including in-office dentures and implant-retained dentures. With today's advanced denture fabrication techniques, custom-fitted dentures can be created within just one visit! This type of denture provides patients with a fast, efficient, and convenient solution to missing teeth. On the other hand, implant-retained dentures are anchored in place by surgically placed dental implants. Implant-retained dentures offer a more stable and secure foundation for the dentures, improving comfort and function when eating or speaking. Furthermore, implant-retained dentures offer a permanent and long-lasting solution to missing teeth compared to traditional removable dentures. Dentures that are provided in-office or with implant-retained dentures offer their patients a range of options to meet individual needs and preferences, so that patients can enjoy a beautiful, healthy smile with complete confidence and comfort.

Emergency TMJ Stents

An emergency TMJ stent is a type of dental appliance designed to provide temporary relief from acute TMJ pain and discomfort. This appliance fits custom-fitted to the patient's mouth, helping reposition their jaw into a more comfortable and relaxed position which may reduce symptoms associated with TMJ disorders. Emergency TMJ stents are commonly created using a fast and efficient CAD/CAM process that can be completed in just one visit to the dental office. Fast turnaround helps TMJ patients receive timely relief from their symptoms, eliminating the need for more expensive and invasive treatments. Dental offices offering emergency TMJ stents offer their patients a comfortable, effective, and fast solution to acute TMJ pain and discomfort - enabling them to resume normal activities and enjoy an improved quality of life.

Cosmetic Smile Previews for Invisalign

Cosmetic smile previews are an integral part of dental treatments such as Invisalign, a clear aligner system used to straighten teeth without the use of traditional braces. A cosmetic smile preview is a digital image of the patient's intended smile after Invisalign treatment. This preview is created using advanced 3D imaging technology and allows the patient to see the exact outcome of their treatment before it even begins. By seeing the cosmetic preview, patients can make more informed decisions about their dental treatment and have a better idea of what their smile will look like. This can provide patients with greater confidence and enthusiasm throughout the treatment process. Cosmetic smile previews are a powerful tool that dental offices can use to help ensure patient satisfaction and deliver the most efficient and effective dental care possible. By offering this advanced imaging technology, dental offices can help their patients make better-informed decisions about their dental treatment and achieve the most beautiful and healthy smile possible.
